Qualifications

• NEBOSH Diploma or IOSH Managing Safely certifications preferred.
• 15+ years of HSE experience in engineering, construction, or project management.

### **Job Description**## Overview AtkinsRéalis is seeking an experienced and proactive HSE Manager to lead and oversee Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) activities across its operations in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA). Reporting directly to the Regional HSE leadership, the HSE Manager will be responsible for implementing and maintaining the organization's HSE standards, ensuring compliance with local regulations and corporate requirements, and fostering a strong safety culture across offices, projects, accommodations, and transportation operations. The role requires close collaboration with operational, logistics, project, and client stakeholders to drive continuous improvement in health, safety, wellbeing, and environmental performance while supporting the successful delivery of AtkinsRéalis projects and business objectives. ## Your role * Provide HSE leadership, guidance, technical expertise, and oversight for all AtkinsRéalis operations and activities within KSA.* Promote and embed a positive and just safety culture across business units and project teams.* Ensure compliance with corporate HSE standards, local regulatory requirements, and the Global HSE Management System (GHSEMS).* Support project managers, resident engineers, and operational leaders on all HSE-related matters.* Conduct comprehensive HSE risk assessments and provide recommendations to mitigate identified risks.* Monitor and support incident reporting, investigation, corrective actions, and lessons learned in accordance with company procedures.* Assist with the implementation of BlueBook standards and other regional HSE requirements.* Collaborate with logistics and operations teams to ensure safe management of company-provided accommodation and transportation.* Oversee driving safety programs and support the implementation of road safety requirements.* Conduct HSE audits, inspections, and compliance assessments across offices, projects, accommodations, and contractor operations.* Support leadership site visits, safety tours, and engagement programs to reinforce HSE expectations.* Develop and deliver HSE training, awareness campaigns, and competency-building initiatives.* Support employee wellbeing programs in coordination with leadership and wellbeing teams.* Review hotels, worker accommodations, and temporary housing facilities to ensure compliance with company HSE standards.* Engage with clients, contractors, consultants, regulatory authorities, municipalities, and government bodies on HSE matters.* Monitor HSE performance indicators and prepare management reports and recommendations.* Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and implement best practices across the organization.* Promote AtkinsRéalis' values and commitment to excellence in health, safety, environment, and wellbeing. ## About you * Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related discipline.* Professional HSE certifications such as NEBOSH International Diploma/IGC, IOSH Managing Safely, or equivalent.* Minimum 15+ years of HSE experience, preferably within engineering, construction, infrastructure, or project management environments.* Strong knowledge of KSA HSE regulations, international safety standards, and industry best practices.* Experience implementing and managing HSE Management Systems within large organizations.* Proven track record in conducting risk assessments, incident investigations, audits, and compliance reviews.* Experience managing HSE requirements related to accommodations, transportation, and driving safety programs.* Strong understanding of ISO standards, including ISO 45001 and ISO 14001.* Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.* Ability to develop and deliver engaging HSE training programs.* Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.* Proficiency in HSE reporting systems and Microsoft Office applications.* Ability to influence and engage personnel at all organizational levels.* Fluency in English; Arabic language skills would be an advantage.* Willingness to travel within KSA to support offices and project locations as required. ## Rewards & benefits Explore the rewards and benefits that help you thrive – at every stage of your life and your career.This includes:* Tax-free salary.* Life insurance coverage.* Medical insurance.* Annual leave balance.* Company gratuity scheme.* Discretionary bonus program.* Annual flight contribution.* Transportation & housing allowances.* Employee Wellbeing Program: 24/7 access to specialists in finance, legal matters, familycare, personal health, fitness, and nutrition.Seize every opportunity to sharpen your skills, expand your expertise, and be recognized for the impact you make.
