Job summary

alfanar seeks a Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) specialist to support the implementation of HSE systems across engineering and operations in Riyadh. The role centers on risk assessments, compliance, training, and emergency preparedness to protect people and assets.

Reporting to the HSE Department, you will review designs, conduct site inspections, develop procedures, and participate in drills to ensure alignment with international standards and company policies. Saudi residency is preferred.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed HSE risk assessments and evaluate protection measures.
• Validate protection systems and verify compliance with standards.
• Identify hazards, assess risks, and recommend corrective actions.
• Apply HSE requirements within engineering and operations.
• Review technical documents to verify safety and environmental compliance.
• Prepare HSE awareness content and deliver training.
• Develop and maintain emergency response plans and drills.
• Support site evacuation procedures and materials.
• Perform HSE inspections and report findings.
• Carry out on-site audits and safety checks.
• Draft and maintain HSE documentation and incident logs.
• Analyze incidents and suggest safety enhancements.
• Research updates to HSE procedures based on best practices.
• Coordinate written systems, policies, and seek automation opportunities.
