Job summary

Egisgroup in Riyadh seeks an experienced Senior Geotechnical Engineer (Site Supervision) to provide technical leadership and on-site supervision for geotechnical investigations, foundation design, and ground improvement projects.

You will ensure compliance with engineering standards, manage site operations, and deliver high-quality geotechnical solutions that meet project specifications and safety requirements.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 years of professional experience in geotechnical engineering with at least 5 years in site supervision and field operations.
• Strong expertise in soil mechanics, foundation design, and ground improvement techniques.
• Proficiency in geotechnical analysis software and modeling tools.
• Familiarity with Saudi Arabian building codes and local regulations.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate geotechnical site investigations, including soil boring, sampling, and in-situ testing activities.
• Analyze soil and rock properties to assess foundation design requirements and ground stability conditions.
• Prepare detailed geotechnical reports, recommendations, and technical documentation for project stakeholders.
• Implement and monitor quality assurance and quality control procedures on-site to ensure compliance with project specifications.
• Manage site safety protocols and ensure adherence to health and safety regulations and best practices.
• Collaborate with project managers, structural engineers, and contractors to resolve geotechnical challenges and optimize construction solutions.
• Conduct field inspections and testing to verify soil conditions, foundation construction, and ground improvement work.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineering staff and site personnel.
• Evaluate geotechnical data using industry-standard software and analytical tools to support design decisions.
• Maintain organized project records, test results, and documentation for regulatory and contractual compliance.
• Communicate findings and recommendations clearly to project teams and clients in a professional manner.
