Job summary

AESG is seeking a Fire Protection Inspector to deliver high-quality inspection and compliance services for life safety systems across projects in the region. You will conduct site inspections, witness tests, and collaborate with contractors and authorities to ensure full regulatory compliance.

Requirements include a Diploma/ Bachelor’s in fire protection or related engineering, 3–5 years of relevant experience, and proficiency with NFPA and IBC standards.

Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of experience in fire protection inspection, testing, commissioning, or site supervision.
  • Relevant certifications such as NFPA, CFPS, IFE, Civil Defence approval, or equivalent are preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of international fire codes and standards (NFPA, IBC, BS, UAE Fire Code, etc.).

Responsibilities

  • Conduct site inspections for fire protection and life safety systems to ensure compliance with drawings, specifications and codes.
  • Witness testing, commissioning activities and verify system performance and documentation.
  • Identify non-conformities, issue inspection reports, and follow up on corrective actions.
  • Coordinate with contractors, consultants and clients to resolve site-related fire protection issues.
  • Attend inspections with Civil Defence and relevant authorities when required.
  • Prepare clear inspection reports, snag lists, and compliance records.
  • Ensure all activities comply with HSE requirements and IMS procedures.
  • Support junior team members and contribute to knowledge sharing.
  • Assist with technical inputs for proposals and business development activities.

Job Purpose

Deliver high-quality fire protection inspection and compliance services to AESG’s clients, ensuring that fire and life safety systems are installed, tested, and maintained in full compliance with applicable codes, standards, and project requirements. Support the successful execution of projects through site inspections, reporting, and coordination with clients, contractors, and authorities.

Qualifications & Experience
