Job summary

Parsons is seeking a Fire and Life Safety Engineer – Inspection in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role focuses on field oversight, testing, commissioning, and final acceptance of fire protection and life safety systems across major airport and infrastructure works.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of relevant experience, strong NFPA, Saudi Building Code knowledge, and proven coordination with authorities and contractors to ensure compliant installations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of relevant Fire and Life Safety experience.
• Proven ability to inspect, test, commission, and verify life safety systems across complex projects.
• Experience coordinating with authorities, consultants, and contractors on large-scale facilities.

Responsibilities

• Inspect Fire and Life Safety installations against drawings, specs, ITPs, and codes.
• Review shop drawings, calculations, submittals, and equipment data before inspection.
• Verify fire alarm, detection, sprinkler, and life safety system installations and interfaces.
• Coordinate with BMS/ICT/ELV and other building systems during testing and commissioning.
• Witness testing, commissioning, and acceptance procedures; ensure regulatory compliance.
• Prepare inspection records, NCRs, and handover documentation.
