Job summary

acwa china is seeking an experienced outage management professional to support end-to-end outage planning and execution for a major plant in Saudi Arabia. The role focuses on cost efficiency, asset reliability, HSSE compliance, and timely delivery of outages.

Responsibilities include pre-outage planning studies, coordinating with vendors and internal teams, managing schedules, permits, QA, daily progress, and delivering a final outage report with lessons learned.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
10+ years of Operations and Maintenance experience in large power plants.
Experience managing at least one outage of Steam/Turbine or Gas Turbine (OEM experience a plus).

Responsibilities

Assist in planning outage strategy, scope of work, and resources for assigned projects.
Monitor daily progress and manage stakeholders to ensure work aligns with procedures and HSSE standards.
Arrange spare parts, consumables, tools, and permits ahead of execution.
Update the schedule daily based on progress and plant conditions.
Attend daily outage coordination meetings and develop daily/weekly performance reports.
Coordinate quality inspections and assist with final calibration and acceptance.
