Job summary

Bechtel Corporation in Riyadh seeks a Lead Field Engineer - Mech to oversee mechanical systems installation on a major project. The role requires full construction engineering knowledge, strong organizational skills, and leadership to guide multidisciplinary field teams.

You will coordinate with engineering and contractors, manage look-ahead schedules, ensure ES&H and quality compliance, and support project milestones through close collaboration with clients and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering required.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant large-scale construction experience.
• Experience managing contractors and technical oversight.
• Knowledge of international codes and safety procedures.
• Willingness to work in KSA/Middle East and in Saudi projects.
• Strong communication and teamwork capabilities.
• Experience with ES&H and quality management systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead the construction quality program and site inspections.
• Provide discipline-based technical oversight of contractors.
• Coordinate across disciplines with Engineering and Construction teams.
• Monitor schedule, cost, and change management; ensure permits.
• Guide and mentor field engineers and coordinate subcontractors.
• Ensure compliance with safety codes and project specifications.
