Job summary

AtkinsRéalis is seeking an experienced Field Engineer - Electrical in Riyadh to supervise installation, testing, commissioning, and handover of electrical systems for a major development project. You will ensure compliance with drawings, project specs, and codes while coordinating with multi-disciplinary teams.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years in electrical engineering and construction supervision, strong knowledge of power distribution and ELV systems, and experience in large-scale hospitality

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from a recognized university.
• 8+ years of professional experience in electrical engineering and construction supervision.
• 5+ years as Electrical Field Engineer, Site Engineer, or Electrical Inspector on major building projects.
• Experience with large-scale buildings and hospitality projects.
• Experience in Site Supervision Consultancy, PMC, or Engineering Consultancy environments is highly preferred.
• Knowledge of electrical power distribution, ELV, lighting, and building services infrastructure.
• Familiarity with IEC, IEEE, NFPA, BS standards and local Saudi regulations.
• Experience with testing, commissioning, energization, and handover processes.
• Fluency in English; Arabic a plus.

Responsibilities

• Supervise electrical construction activities to ensure compliance with drawings and contract requirements.
• Monitor wiring, transformers, switchgear, generators, and ELV systems.
• Review shop drawings, submittals, method statements, and testing docs.
• Verify materials and equipment meet project specs and submittals.
• Coordinate with civil, structural, architectural, MEP, and ICT teams.
• Witness inspections, testing, energization, and commissioning.
• Prepare progress reports and technical assessments.
• Support QA/QC procedures and field issue resolution.
• Assist in handover to client and facilities management.
