Collaborate with project managers and engineers to capture scope, assess labor, materials, and overhead costs, and utilize estimation software to build detailed cost models.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is essential.
• Certification in Cost Estimating (e.g., Certified Cost Estimator/Analyst) is highly preferred to demonstrate expertise in the field.
• A minimum of 5-10 years of experience in construction estimation or project management is required for effective performance.
• Proven experience in the construction or engineering industry is essential, with specific knowledge of structural, mechanical, or electrical estimation.

Responsibilities

• Analyze blueprints specifications and other documentation to prepare detailed cost estimates for projects ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Collaborate with project managers and engineers to understand project requirements and scope facilitating accurate estimation of resources and timelines.
• Research and evaluate labor material and overhead costs by consulting historical data and industry benchmarks to enhance estimation reliability.
• Utilize advanced estimation software and tools to create comprehensive cost models improving efficiency and accuracy in the estimation process.
