Job summary

WSP is seeking a Site Construction Manager to supervise EPC construction activities for a Combined Cycle Gas Turbine cogeneration plant in Saudi Arabia. You will coordinate with the Client, EPC Contractor, and WSP teams to ensure safe, compliant, and timely execution on site.

You must have a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, 15+ years of relevant site construction experience, and at least 5 years in a Construction Manager role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering from a recognized university.
• Minimum 15 years of relevant site construction experience on power/industrial EPC projects.
• At least 5 years in a Construction Manager or Site Construction Manager leadership role.
• Professional registration/certification preferred; strong site reporting and documentation skills.
• Experience on CCGT/cogeneration projects and familiarity with regional client/contractor frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Lead site construction supervision and coordination for EPC works per drawings, specs, and schedule.
• Interface with Client, EPC Contractor, and WSP project team on construction matters.
• Monitor daily site activities, manpower, equipment, materials, and look-ahead progress.
• Review method statements, ITPs, risk assessments, lifting plans, and temporary works.
• Support construction planning, readiness reviews, and handover dossiers.
• Drive timely closure of RFIs, design clarifications, and field changes.
• Ensure QA/QC and HSE compliance and proper documentation of closeout records.
• Prepare minutes, action trackers, and progress reports for leadership.
• Coordinate with discipline engineers to resolve technical and contractual issues.
• Maintain action logs, NCRs, punch lists, and site instruction records.
