Job summary

Eram Talent is seeking a Procurement Engineer to lead the end-to-end procurement process for EPC projects in Saudi Arabia. You will source materials and long-lead items, prepare RFQs, evaluate bids, and negotiate terms to meet project schedules.

The role requires a mechanical/electrical/civil/industrial engineering background, 15+ years of EPC procurement experience, and strong ERP (SAP/Oracle) proficiency. Collaboration with multiple functions and strict HSE adherence are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering discipline.
• 15+ years procurement experience with reputed EPC contractors.
• Experience in EPC projects within Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Power, Infrastructure, or Industrial sectors.
• Proven track record in long-lead item procurement and critical equipment.
• Strong knowledge of EPC procurement processes and commercial negotiations.
• Proficiency with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle; CPM/CIPS certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end procurement lifecycle for EPC projects.
• Prepare RFQs, evaluate supplier quotations, conduct bid evaluations.
• Negotiate pricing, delivery terms, warranties, and contractual conditions.
• Prepare purchase orders, procurement recommendations, and contract docs.
• Coordinate with engineering, planning, QA/QC, logistics, and project teams.
• Monitor supplier performance and expedite critical deliveries; resolve issues.
• Maintain vendor relationships; ensure compliance with procedures and HSE.
