Job summary

KBR is seeking an Electrical Technician III in Saudi Arabia to perform day-to-day electrical maintenance across plant assets, following preventive and predictive plans and safe practices. You will execute repairs, troubleshoot complex electrical equipment, and ensure compliance with SATORP safety and quality procedures while reporting progress to supervision.

Coordinate with the maintenance team, document work, and contribute to reliability improvements; strong English communication is essential

Qualifications

• Diploma holder in Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 4 years’ experience in Oil & Gas maintenance – High School.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in Oil & Gas maintenance – Diploma.
• Valid certification issued by a recognized third-party body attesting to qualifications.
• Strong technical understanding of maintenance management of Oil & Gas facilities.
• Well organized with excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Execute day-to-day electrical maintenance activities on all electrical systems, plant, equipment and facilities.
• Comply with SATORP’s Safety and Quality procedures during maintenance activities.
• Ensure proper execution of work and monitoring of routine maintenance activities.
• Repair and troubleshoot electrical assets to improve availability and reliability.
• Receive work directions from Electrical Supervisor and report progress.
• Maintain records of daily maintenance against planned programs and prepare completion reports.
• Enforce safety policies and procedures during maintenance works.
• Perform preventive maintenance on HV and LV switchgear and protection devices.
• Test relays, breakers, busbars, motor starters and ATS.
• Support switchgear operations in electrical substation when requested.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by Electrical Leader.
• Demonstrate proactive safety and strong communication.
• Demonstrate knowledge of electrical system maintenance and repair.
• Maintain knowledge of electrical equipment design and maintenance.
• Maintain mechanics and electro-hydraulic systems knowledge.
• Adhere to health, safety and environmental standards.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and work under pressure with clear English.
