Job summary

Saipem seeks a Senior Electrical Designer to join the Engineering team in Saudi Arabia, reporting to the Lead Electrical and supervising about 10 engineers. You will participate in design, verification, testing, and study of electrical systems to meet project requirements and schedules.

Responsibilities include ensuring proper information exchange, implementing QA/QC and HSE, and contributing to 2D/3D modelling, tender analysis, and material take-offs. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
• 4 years of experience as an Electrical designer in oil and gas

Responsibilities

• Perform design, verification, testing or study of electrical systems per project requirements
• Ensure correct and timely information exchange with all project stakeholders
• Implement Saipem guidelines and QA/QC and HSE requirements
• Develop electrical system plant design (cable routings, grounding, lighting) and prepare bulk materials documentation
• Support construction for electrical installation and bulk materials management
