Job summary

Qiddiya in Saudi Arabia seeks a senior development leader to drive security projects from concept through completion, ensuring alignment with the company’s vision and regulatory requirements.

You will lead cross-functional teams, coordinate with operators, contractors, consultants, and government authorities to ensure successful delivery, while managing budgets, risks, and stakeholder relations. A strong mentorship culture will be fostered to build a high-performing team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Real Estate, Construction Management, Architecture or Engineering.
• 15+ years of professional experience in development/real estate/security sectors.
• Strong leadership and stakeholder management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage security development projects, ensuring alignment with Qiddiya’s vision.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders (operators, contractors, consultants, authorities) for delivery.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations, zoning and environmental standards.
• Monitor progress and budget, implement risk and cost management strategies.
• Develop and maintain relationships with community leaders, investors, and partners.
• Mentor and lead a high-performing development team; foster collaboration and innovation.
• Prepare and present project plans, reports, and updates to senior management and the board.
• Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and best practices to drive development innovation.
• Coordinate and manage the projects team through the delivery process to ensure conformance with approved designs.

Job description

Leading cross-functional teams, ensuring the successful planning and execution of security projects from concept to completion. Exhibiting a robust understanding of the real estate development process and capable of delivering innovative solutions that align with Qiddiya's vision.
Demonstrated end-to-end experience in the development of security assets with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and GCC Region.

• Lead and manage security development projects, ensuring they align with the overall vision and strategy of Qiddiya Investment Company
• Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders, including operators, contractors, consultants, and government authorities to facilitate successful project delivery
• Ensure compliance with local regulations, zoning requirements, and environmental standards throughout the development process
• Monitor project progress and budget, implement effective risk management strategies and cost management
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including community leaders, investors, and partners
• Strong written and verbal communication, fluency in English and Arabic highly desirable
• Mentor and lead a high-performing development team, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation
• Prepare and present project plans, reports, and updates to senior management and the board of directors
• Stay abreast of industry trends, technologies, and best practices to drive innovation in development
• To coordinate and manage the projects team through the delivery process, to ensure the projects are constructed in accordance with the approved design
  

Requirements Bachelor's Degree in Real Estate, Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
Program and/or Portfolio Management Qualification highly regarded.
