Job summary

Norconsult Telematics is seeking a Senior DevOps/SRE to bridge development and operations across OpenShift/Kubernetes environments. You will lead automated delivery, ensure high availability, and drive scalable, secure infrastructure across on-prem and cloud platforms.

The role requires strong leadership and hands-on experience with CI/CD, IaC, and incident-driven improvements. As a senior operator-builder, you will orchestrate deployment health, observability, and fault-tolerant processes while

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in IT/CS/Engineering.
• 10+ years of experience in IT with large-scale infrastructure/devops/SRE roles.
• Deep understanding of networking, data centers, cloud, and security for infrastructure projects.
• Expertise in container orchestration (OpenShift/Kubernetes), CI/CD (Jenkins/GitLab).
• Experience with regulatory compliance, data privacy, and information security.

Responsibilities

• Own outcomes to improve availability and reliability of enterprise applications and infrastructure.
• Drive secure, automated delivery across build, test, release, and change processes.
• Improve scalability by evolving infrastructure patterns and operational practices.
• Strengthen collaboration between development and operations with guardrails and workflows.
• Embed security and disciplined change management into daily engineering workflows.
• Identify and remediate single points of failure and environmental inconsistencies.
• Improve observability with telemetry, alerts, and dashboards to guide reliability investments.
• Provide dependable infrastructure foundations and standardized deployment paths for fast, safe delivery.
• Lead continuous improvement using incidents and bottlenecks for durable process and tooling enhancements.
• Set senior-level operational direction by shaping best practices and engineering standards.
