Job summary

Michael Page (UAE) represents a GCC-focused real estate firm seeking a Development Manager to lead large-scale logistics and industrial projects from land acquisition through handover. The role requires coordinating with consultants, authorities and investors to ensure on-time delivery of strategic developments.

You will manage budgets, schedules, risk, and procurement, while shaping development strategies and asset management post-delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• Approximately 10+ years of real estate development experience.
• Experience in logistics, industrial or warehouse developments preferred.
• Experience managing multiple stakeholders and authorities.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development process from land stage through design, permitting, procurement, construction, commissioning and handover.
• Develop and manage project budgets, schedules and development strategies.
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, authorities and investors to achieve project objectives.
• Oversee planning, design development and value engineering activities.
• Manage tendering and contractor appointment processes.
• Monitor progress, quality, cost and risks throughout delivery.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations and permitting requirements.
• Prepare regular project status reports for senior management and investors.
• Identify and mitigate development risks to deliver successful outcomes.
• Act as primary contact between stakeholders and support the investment team with reporting.
• Build relationships with Saudi/UAE authorities and key industry partners.
• Develop asset management strategies and monitor post-delivery performance.
• Evaluate new development opportunities and help establish platform standards.
