Job summary

TRACTEBEL in Riyadh seeks a Senior Design Mechanical Engineer to lead specifications, design reviews and coordination with the Contractor, Consultant and internal teams. The role focuses on ensuring robust mechanical design for a large Thermal Power Project.

The candidate must hold a Bachelor in Mechanical Engineering approved by the Saudi Council of Engineers and bring at least ten years of relevant experience, including review of MDL, PFDs, P&IDs, CFD modeling, FAT procedures, and field

Qualifications

• Bachelor Mechanical Engineering degree approved by Saudi Council of Engineers.
• Minimum of 10 years of related experience in large Thermal Power Projects.
• Experience in design review of EPC submitted Engineering documents: MDL, design criteria, PFDs, P&IDs, GA, HMBD, design calculations, CFD modeling, FAT procedures and reports.

Responsibilities

• Prepare specifications and coordinate design reviews.
• Manage design works with the Contractor, Consultant and internal disciplines.
• Review and verify design calculations, studies and vendor drawings; implement field changes as required.
• Support construction, commissioning, reliability and performance test procedures and reports.
