Job summary

Qiddiya | القدية in Riyadh is seeking a Senior Manager - Planning and Design to lead the development and implementation of design guidelines across all projects, coordinating with the Design Director. The role involves advising on design consultant candidates, contract execution, and ensuring alignment with the master plan.

You will support project teams with design strategies, schedules, budgets and plans, while conducting periodic design reviews to maintain quality and strategic objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Architecture or related field.
• Master's Degree in Engineering, Architecture or related field preferred.
• Minimum 9-12 total years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and ensure implementation of design guidelines for all development projects in coordination with the Design Director.
• Ensure development and successful implementation of design plan to achieve design goals for all assigned projects.
• Advise leadership on suitable design consultant candidates through outreach, RFP development, contract execution and administration with the Design Director.
• Provide support to development project teams in design strategies for efficient completion of projects.
• Support design, development and construction teams regarding schedules, budgets and plans.
• Ensure periodic internal design reviews align with the master plan and take corrective actions when needed.
• Review design deliverables and ensure compliance with quality standards and strategic objectives.
• Coordinate between multiple consultants from pre-concept through execution to align with Qiddiya's master plan.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure development and successful implementation of design plan in order to ensure successful achievement of design goals for all assigned projects
• Advise leadership team on the most suitable design consultant candidates through initial outreach, RFP development, contract execution and contract administration in coordination with the Design Director
• Provide support to development project teams in the development of design strategies in order to ensure efficient completion of project as and when needed.
• Provide support to the design, development and construction teams regarding the development schedules, budgets and plans
• Ensure periodic internal design reviews in order to ensure alignment with overall plan and take corrective actions when needed.
• Review design related deliverables and provide recommendations as and when needed in order to ensure compliance with quality standards and achievement of strategic objectives
• Ensure coordination between multiple consultants from pre-concept through execution to ensure alignment to Qiddiya's master plan.
