Job summary

Qiddiya Investment Company in Riyadh is seeking a Senior Manager – Planning and Design to lead the development and implementation of design guidelines across all development projects in collaboration with the Design Director.

The role includes advising leadership on design consultants, supporting project teams with budgets and schedules, coordinating multiple consultants from pre-concept to execution, and ensuring quality and alignment with Qiddiya’s master plan.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Architecture or related field.
• Master’s Degree in Engineering, Architecture or related field preferred.
• Minimum 9-12 total years of relevant experience.
• Experience coordinating multiple design consultants and reviews.

Senior Manager – Planning and Design

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and ensure implementation of design guidelines for all development projects in coordination with the Design Director.

• Ensure development and successful implementation of design plan in order to ensure successful achievement of design goals for all assigned projects.
• Advise leadership team on the most suitable design consultant candidates through initial outreach, RFP development, contract execution and contract administration in coordination with the Design Director.
• Provide support to development project teams in the development of design strategies in order to ensure efficient completion of project as and when needed.
• Provide support to the design, development and construction teams regarding the development schedules, budgets and plans.
• Ensure periodic internal design reviews in order to ensure alignment with overall plan and take corrective actions when needed.
• Review design related deliverables and provide recommendations as and when needed in order to ensure compliance with quality standards and achievement of strategic objectives.
• Ensure coordination between multiple consultants from pre-concept through execution to ensure alignment to Qiddiya’s master plan.
