Job summary

Qiddiya is seeking a Senior Manager – Planning and Design in Riyadh to lead the development and implementation of design guidelines across multiple projects. The role requires coordinating consultants, guiding RFP processes, and ensuring alignment with the master plan.

The candidate will support design strategies, manage schedules and budgets, and conduct periodic design reviews to meet strategic objectives. A strong engineering or architectural background and extensive experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Architecture or related field.
• Master’s Degree in Engineering, Architecture or related field preferred.
• Minimum 9-12 total years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and ensure implementation of design guidelines with the Design Director.
• Advise leadership on design consultant candidates through RFP development, contract execution and contract administration in coordination with the Design Director.
• Provide support to development project teams in the development of design strategies to ensure efficient completion of project.
• Provide support to the design, development and construction teams regarding schedules, budgets and plans.
• Ensure periodic internal design reviews to align with the master plan and take corrective actions as needed.
• Review design related deliverables and provide recommendations to ensure compliance with quality standards and achievement of strategic objectives.
• Coordinate between multiple consultants from pre-concept through execution to align with Qiddiya’s master plan.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and ensure implementation of design guidelines for all development projects in coordination with the Design Director.

• Ensure development and successful implementation of design plan in order to ensure successful achievement of design goals for all assigned projects.
• Advise leadership team on the most suitable design consultant candidates through initial outreach, RFP development, contract execution and contract administration in coordination with the Design Director.
• Provide support to development project teams in the development of design strategies in order to ensure efficient completion of project as and when needed.
• Provide support to the design, development and construction teams regarding the development schedules, budgets and plans.
• Ensure periodic internal design reviews in order to ensure alignment with overall plan and take corrective actions when needed.
