Job summary

aljeel Medical in Riyadh is seeking a Senior Demand Planning Specialist to join our Supply Chain team. You will develop and maintain demand forecasts at SKU, category, and brand levels, and coordinate with Sales, Finance, and suppliers to align assumptions.

The role requires 2–5 years of experience in demand planning, a Bachelor's degree, strong analytical skills, proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, and familiarity with ERP systems such as Oracle Fusion.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field is required.
• 2–5 years of experience in Demand planning in medical/pharma/FMCG distribution.
• Knowledge of Consensus Forecasting, WAPE/MAPEX, and BIAS.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint; Power BI is an advantage.
• ERP systems experience, preferably Oracle Fusion.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration and attention to detail.
• Data-driven decision-making approach.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and improve demand forecasts at SKU, category, and brand levels.
• Analyze historical sales, market trends, seasonality, promotions, and customer behavior to develop accurate demand plans.
• Monitor inventory levels to ensure product availability while minimizing overstock and stock-outs.
• Provide regular forecast accuracy reports and 12-month forecasts for key suppliers.
• Collaborate with Sales, Finance, and Supply Chain teams to align demand assumptions.
• Participate in S&OP meetings and present forecast insights.
• Conduct root cause analysis for shortages, overstock, and forecast variances.
• Prepare dashboards and reports to support business decision-making.
• Support process optimization, automation, and simplification initiatives.
• Coordinate with Sales and suppliers regarding new item introductions and phase-out activities.
