Job summary

Intelmatix seeks a Senior Data Engineer to architect and deliver an enterprise-grade Data Lakehouse for AI-ready analytics. You will design scalable data pipelines, ensure data quality, and build a secure platform compliant with national standards in Saudi Arabia.

Based in Riyadh, you will lead a co-build effort with client teams, mentor engineers, and create runbooks to enable long-term operational ownership. Strong in Spark, cloud architectures, and data governance is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of Data Engineering, Distributed Systems, or Big Data Architecture experience.
• 2+ years leading Data Lakehouse or Cloud Data Platform implementations.

Responsibilities

• Design and deploy a unified Data Lakehouse (Bronze-Silver-Gold) on cloud infra within Saudi Arabia.
• Build reusable ingestion frameworks (batch and streaming) for structured and unstructured data.
• Implement automated data quality checks and end-to-end data lineage tracking.
• Optimize data processing workflows for performance, scale, and cost.
• Mentor client engineers, lead knowledge transfer, and conduct Game Day simulations.
