Job summary

Bechtel Corporation in Saudi Arabia is seeking a Senior Cost Engineer for the Ar Rjum project to prepare cost forecasts, review cost trends, and implement project requirements for cost control. Your detailed analysis will provide innovative solutions to cost engineering challenges.

The role requires 8–12 years of relevant experience and proficiency with EcoSys, PowerBI and Microsoft Office; responsibilities include budgeting, forecasting, and performance reporting to project and client

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field with 8–12 years of cost engineering or project controls experience; or 12–15 years of relevant work experience.
Proficiency in EcoSys, PowerBI and Microsoft applications; strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

Maintain cost budgets and accurate cost & cashflow forecasts, utilizing the change management system.
Monitor progress of contractors, verify monthly incurred costs, prepare monthly accruals and provide variance analysis.
Ensure approved trends and changes are incorporated into the EAC and budget for cost and quantities.
Prepare routine performance reports and studies related to assigned scope for management review.
Maintain open communications with other organizations to support cost engineering analysis and control activities.
