Job summary

Hill International, Inc. is seeking an experienced Cost Control Lead to implement and manage cost control strategies across projects in Saudi Arabia.

You will monitor financial data, prepare budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses, and work with project managers to track costs and ensure profitability. The role requires 10+ years in cost control with strong leadership and mentoring skills, plus fluency in Arabic and English.

Qualifications

• Bachelor/Master degree in Accounting or Engineering or equivalent.
• 10+ years of related field experience on national or international programs.
• Extensive knowledge of project cost management and budgeting.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement cost control strategies to ensure effective financial management.
• Monitor and analyze financial data to identify cost-saving opportunities and improve profitability.
• Prepare and present financial reports, budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses to senior management.
• Coordinate with project managers and department heads to track and control project costs.
• Review and approve purchase orders, invoices, and expense reports for policy and budget compliance.
• Conduct regular audits of financial records and procedures to identify discrepancies.
• Train and mentor cost control staff to ensure understanding of processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive cost reduction and efficiency initiatives.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in cost control and financial analysis.
