Job summary

AtkinsRéalis in Saudi Arabia is seeking a Cost Control Engineer to monitor and manage project costs across the lifecycle. You will develop budgets, implement CBS, track expenditures, forecast costs, and provide detailed cost reporting to support commercial decisions.

With 8–12 years in cost control on major infrastructure projects, GCC/Saudi experience is preferred. A civil/cost engineering background is required; a Master’s degree is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Cost Engineering, or related discipline.
• Master's Degree in Project Management, Cost Engineering or Construction Management is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and monitor project budgets and cost control systems.
• Establish cost breakdown structures aligned with work packages and contract requirements.
• Track expenditures against budgets and identify variances.
• Support baseline budgets for bridge and infrastructure construction activities.
• Monitor commitments, expenditures, and forecasted costs.
• Prepare cost forecasts, cash flows, and periodic cost reports.
• Support change control and quantify cost impacts.
• Monitor procurement budgets and commitments.
• Review contractor payments, variations, and commercial submissions.
• Verify financial impacts of contractual changes and risks.
