Job summary

Haskoning in the Gulf Region is seeking a Senior Consultant Dry Bulk & Materials Handling to lead consultancy and engineering projects across terminals, storage facilities and industrial plants. You will translate client needs into practical, commercially viable solutions and manage technical assignments from feasibility through to implementation.

Based in the United Arab Emirates or Saudi Arabia, you will work with international clients, lead multidisciplinary teams, and help grow the business

Qualifications

Master's degree and 7–15 years of experience in dry bulk handling or related heavy industry.
Experience in Gulf Region projects and terminal engineering.
Knowledge of feasibility studies, master planning, tender design, and owner's engineering.

Responsibilities

Serve as the primary client liaison for technical assignments and project delivery.
Contribute across feasibility studies, master planning, concept design, and tendering.
Specify and integrate bulk handling systems within industrial/port facilities.
Lead workshops, site surveys, and stakeholder engagement activities.
Prepare reports, tender docs, and design specifications.
Support procurement and contractor selections; negotiate contracts.
Collaborate with international specialists to deliver integrated solutions.
Identify and develop new business opportunities.
