Job summary

Confidential Construction seeks a Senior Construction Manager to lead a flagship luxury hotel project in Riyadh, overseeing civil, architectural, structural, MEP, and hospitality trades from construction through handover.

You will coordinate with the Project Director, consultants, client, hotel operator, designers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure quality, schedule, and budget targets while maintaining strict HSE and QA/QC standards. GCC/international experience is highly valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
• 15+ years of construction experience; 5+ years in a Senior Construction Manager role.
• Experience delivering luxury 5-star hotels, resorts, or high-end hospitality projects.
• Experience with GCC/international contractors and large-scale projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage construction activities for luxury hotel project from construction through handover.
• Coordinate with Project Director, consultants, client, hotel operator, designers, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Ensure works delivered per drawings, specs, schedule, and budget.
• Drive execution of luxury finishes, guest rooms, public areas, and hospitality facilities.
• Monitor progress, manpower, materials, and subcontractor performance.
• Resolve technical/site coordination issues and close RFIs, inspections, and approvals.
• Ensure strict adherence to HSE, QA/QC, procedures, and regulations.
• Support testing, commissioning, snagging, and final handover activities.
• Lead multidisciplinary site teams and ensure coordination between all trades.

Job description

• Lead and manage construction activities for a high-end 5-star/luxury hotel project from construction through completion and handover.
• Manage site execution across civil, architectural, structural, MEP, and specialist hospitality works.
• Coordinate with the Project Director, consultants, client, hotel operator, designers, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Ensure works are delivered according to approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, project schedule, and budget.
• Drive execution of luxury finishes, guest rooms, public areas, restaurants, back-of-house areas, and other hospitality facilities.
• Monitor construction progress, manpower, productivity, materials, and subcontractor performance.
• Resolve technical and site coordination issues and ensure timely closure of RFIs, inspections, and approvals.
• Ensure strict compliance with HSE, QA/QC, project procedures, and applicable regulations.
• Support testing, commissioning, snagging, and final handover activities.
• Lead multidisciplinary site teams and ensure effective coordination between all trades.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management,
• 15+ years of construction experience, with 5+ years in a Senior Construction Manager role.
• Proven experience delivering luxury 5-star hotels, resorts, or high-end hospitality projects.
• Strong experience with major GCC/international contractors and large-scale projects.
• Excellent knowledge of architectural finishes, MEP coordination, construction methodologies, QA/QC, HSE, and project controls.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• GCC/Saudi Arabia experience is highly preferred.
• Experience with internationally branded luxury hotels is an advantage.
