Job summary
Snc-Lavalin is seeking an experienced Construction Engineer to support a prestigious, large-scale development project in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. You will supervise construction activities, coordinate among contractors and multidisciplinary teams, and ensure compliance with drawings, specs, and schedules.
Ideal candidates will have a civil engineering degree, 10+ years in construction and site supervision, and strong QA/QC experience.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
- 10+ years of experience in construction and site supervision.
- 5+ years as Construction Engineer on major building projects.
- Experience with large-scale buildings and hospitality developments.
- Knowledge of QA/QC procedures and testing protocols.
- Familiarity with FIDIC contracts desirable.
Responsibilities
- Supervise construction activities ensuring compliance with drawings and specs.
- Coordinate daily site activities among contractors and stakeholders.
- Review shop drawings, submittals, and method statements.
- Monitor progress and ensure adherence to schedules.
- Identify risks, delays, and technical issues and propose solutions.
- Assist in RFI responses and QA/QC procedures.
- Support testing, commissioning, and handover activities.
- Maintain project records and documentation.
