Job summary

Parsons is seeking a Senior Commercial Manager in Saudi Arabia to oversee all contract activity on a large-scale project and to represent the company in negotiations. You will provide strategic direction for commercial and contract management, develop strategies to maximize value, and manage change requests and related documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying is required.
• Minimum of 15 years of commercial management experience across construction sectors.
• Strong knowledge of cost, procurement, and contract management principles.
• Proven track record of managing large-scale projects within budget and schedule.
• Familiarity with local regulations, industry standards, and best practices.
• Excellent communication and leadership capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic direction and leadership for all commercial & contract management activities across the project.
• Develop and implement commercial & contract management strategies to achieve objectives and maximize value.
• Review contractor's and client's change requests and manage related documentation to final EI's and VO's.
• Ensure compliance with contractual terms, including claims, variations, and disputes.
• Lead development and management of project budgets, ensuring alignment with financial goals.
• Monitor costs and implement robust cost control measures to prevent overruns.
• Prepare detailed financial reports, forecasts, and cost analysis for senior management.
• Coordinate with procurement and ensure activities align with project requirements and policies.
• Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and contractors for optimal performance.
• Identify and mitigate commercial risks throughout the project lifecycle.
• Lead and mentor the commercial team and provide training to improve performance.
