Job summary

MARCO is seeking an experienced Lead Commercial professional to oversee the full commercial lifecycle of complex projects in Saudi Arabia. You will lead commercial strategy, manage subcontracts, handle variations and final accounts, and certify payments, while coordinating with PM, Procurement, Contracts, Finance, and QS teams.

The ideal candidate brings 8–10 years in construction, strong negotiation and leadership skills, and a solid understanding of contracts and cost control.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related field.
• 8-10 years of experience in the construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of contracts, variations, claims, valuations, and final accounts.
• Strong leadership, negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate commercial and contractual activities throughout the project lifecycle.
• Manage variations, claims, valuations, payment applications, and final accounts.
• Review and certify payment applications from subcontractors, suppliers, and consultants.
• Monitor project costs, budgets, cash flow, and commercial performance.
• Administer subcontracts and ensure compliance with contractual requirements.
• Coordinate with Project Management, Procurement, Contracts, Finance, and QS teams.
• Prepare commercial reports and contractual correspondence.
• Lead and support the commercial team to ensure timely delivery of assigned activities.
