Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) Security Assurance Services seeks a Senior Security Assurance Solutions Architect to help expand the practice, educate customers on scalable compliance, and translate regulatory requirements into practical security controls.

The role is customer-facing, collaborating with enterprise clients, AWS engineers, and partners to move sensitive workloads to the cloud securely while addressing risk and regulatory needs. Occasional travel is required.

Qualifications

• Experience in information security and compliance.
• Experience in risk management and internal audit including: performing risk assessments and audits, designing controls, managing enterprise control frameworks, and prioritizing risk.
• Experience securing cloud software services and understanding design for scalability, performance and reliability.
• 3+ years advising customers on architectures meeting industry standards and regulations such as NIST 800-53 and GDPR.

Responsibilities

• Lead teams to enhance security assurance and compliance programs.
• Define innovative compliance and risk management approaches for customers moving workloads to the cloud.
• Resolve security assurance questions and help customers achieve compliance while operating in AWS Cloud.
• Convey customer feedback to AWS technology roadmaps.
• Travel to customer sites as needed.
