Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Security Assurance Solutions Architect to help expand the Security Assurance practice and educate customers on scalable security and compliance in the cloud. You will work with enterprise customers to operationalize risk management and compliance across AWS services, contributing to product roadmaps and customer success.

Qualifications

• Experience in risk management and internal audit including: performing risk assessments and audits, designing controls, managing enterprise control frameworks, and prioritizing risk
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems Management, Information Security or other related fields
• 5+ years experience in IT security, compliance and risk management, data privacy, or security controls.
• 2+ years experience advising customers on architectures meeting industry standards and regulations such as NIST 800-53 and GDPR.

Responsibilities

• Deliver in teams to enhance security assurance and compliance programs
• Define innovative compliance and risk management approaches for customers to understand moving sensitive workloads onto the cloud
• Engage to resolve security assurance questions and to understand how to manage risk and achieve compliance while operating in the AWS Cloud
• Convey partner and customer feedback as input to AWS technology roadmaps
• Travel to customer sites as needed.
