Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Senior Security Assurance Solution Architect to help expand the Security Assurance practice, educating customers on scalable compliance in the cloud while demonstrating assurance that regulatory objectives can be achieved.

You will work with multiple business lines and AWS engineers to translate risk and regulatory requirements into repeatable, automated security solutions and support customers moving regulated data to AWS responsibly.

Qualifications

• Experience in information security and compliance.
• Experience in risk management and internal audits including designing controls and frameworks.
• Experience securing cloud services and scalable, reliable architectures.
• 3+ years advising on architectures meeting standards like NIST 800-53 and GDPR.

Responsibilities

• Lead teams to enhance security assurance and compliance programs.
• Define innovative compliance and risk management approaches for customers moving sensitive workloads to the cloud.
• Resolve security assurance questions and manage risk to achieve compliance in the AWS environment.
• Lead efforts with AWS engineering and business teams to incorporate feedback into roadmaps.
• Ability to travel to customer sites as needed.
