Job summary

Flint International in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, seeks a Senior Backend Developer to lead secure backend design and cloud-native development for SAIP platforms. You will work on microservices, REST APIs, and enterprise integrations across government domains with a focus on security and scalable architectures.

The role emphasizes DevSecOps, AI-enabled services, and production support, within an Agile enterprise environment.

Qualifications

8+ years of professional backend development experience.
5+ years with enterprise applications, microservices, and APIs.
Cloud-native development expertise and security-first mindset.
Experience in Agile environments and enterprise integration.
Strong understanding of REST API design and backend architecture.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain secure backend applications and microservices.
Develop services for applicant management, registration, case processing, examination workflows, payments, search, and AI orchestration.
Design and maintain secure REST APIs using OpenAPI standards, API versioning, and rate limiting.
Implement complex business logic, validations, workflows, approvals, SLAs, and audit trails.
Design and optimize databases, queries, and data migration processes.
Integrate backend services with government platforms and enterprise systems.
Integrate digital identity, payment gateways, document management systems, and AI services.
Implement security controls using OAuth2, OIDC, JWT, RBAC, and ABAC.
Apply OWASP security practices and secure software development principles.
Support CI/CD pipelines and containerized deployments using DevSecOps practices.
Develop and maintain unit, integration, and API testing frameworks.
Support SIT and UAT, and provide Level 3 production support.
