Job summary

FLINT INTERNATIONAL MIDDLE EAST is seeking an experienced Azure Cloud Professional to design, implement, and manage enterprise-grade cloud solutions on Microsoft Azure from its Riyadh base. You will lead migrations, architecture, security, and cost optimization while driving cloud adoption with DevOps practices.

The role requires 5–10 years in IT with 3–5 years focused on Azure, AKS, and automation. You will work with cross-functional teams to secure, monitor, and scale Azure environments,

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of IT experience with strong focus on Microsoft Azure (minimum 3–5 years).
• Hands-on experience with AKS and containerization (Docker).
• Strong understanding of Azure Active Directory (AAD), IAM, and security controls.
• Experience with automation/scripting (PowerShell, Azure CLI, Python).
• Experience with Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and Git workflows.
• Knowledge of monitoring/logging tools (Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Sentinel is a plus).
• Good understanding of cloud security, governance, and compliance frameworks.
• Azure certifications such as: Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert; Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable, secure, and highly available solutions on Microsoft Azure.
• Architect and manage core Azure services including Virtual Machines, App Services, AKS, and Azure Storage.
• Build and manage networking components such as VNets, NSGs, VPN Gateway, ExpressRoute, and Azure Firewall.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using ARM templates, Bicep, or Terraform.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
• Monitor and optimize cloud environments using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights.
• Manage identity and access using Azure Active Directory (Azure AD) and RBAC.
• Ensure cloud security best practices, including Microsoft Defender for Cloud, compliance, and governance policies.
• Lead cloud migration and modernization projects from on-premises to Azure.
• Implement backup, disaster recovery, and high availability solutions using Azure-native tools.
• Optimize cost using Azure Cost Management and FinOps practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including DevOps, security, and application teams.
