Job summary

AtkinsRéalis in Saudi Arabia is seeking a Civil Inspector experienced in Bridges projects. You will monitor contractors’ work, verify adherence to specifications and approved drawings, and provide daily reporting to management.

The role requires a Diploma or Degree in civil engineering, at least 8 years’ experience, and fluency in English. You’ll inspect road and bridge works, ensure contract compliance, and collaborate with the project team to deliver safe, compliant infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Diploma / Degree in civil engineering.
• Minimum of 8 years’ experience in the field.
• Good communication skills in written and spoken - English essential.
• Must demonstrate ability to act independently as part of a team.
• Carry out inspection on road and bridges works and ensure contractor’s compliance with contract specifications and approved shop drawings.

Responsibilities

• Carry out inspection on road works in progress and ensure contractor’s compliance with contract specifications and approved shop drawings.
• Monitor and daily report to line management contractor’s progress in all road activities.
• Inspect, check, and record that work is being executed in accordance with approved methodologies.
• Check that site instructions are being followed and report findings to RE.
• Check services locations and ensure their protection.
