Job summary

Egis in Riyadh seeks an experienced Senior CAD/GIS Technician to support metro project planning, design, and execution. You will create detailed CAD drawings and GIS analyses, coordinate with engineering and construction teams, and mentor junior technicians to uphold top technical standards.

The role requires strong CAD (AutoCAD, Civil 3D) and GIS (ArcGIS, QGIS) expertise, plus a track record on large infrastructure programs. Saudi standards familiarity is a plus.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in CAD/GIS roles, with at least 2 years in a senior or lead capacity.
• Metro, transit, or large-scale infrastructure project experience.
• Advanced proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, Civil 3D).
• Expert GIS skills (ArcGIS, QGIS).
• Strong data management and documentation standards.
• Ability to mentor junior CAD/GIS technicians.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Familiarity with Saudi Arabian infrastructure standards (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Develop CAD models and technical drawings using AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
• Perform spatial analysis and create GIS maps to support planning and design.
• Coordinate with engineering and construction teams to produce documentation.
• Mentor junior CAD/GIS technicians to uphold quality standards.
• Prepare and update project databases with current spatial data.
• Conduct QA reviews of drawings and GIS data.
• Integrate CAD and GIS data for visualization and analysis.
• Document processes and generate project tracking reports.
