SIS Global is seeking a Senior Back Office RAN Engineer – Automation in Riyadh to own RAN back office operations, TAC support, and automation initiatives. You will develop Python and AMOS scripts, automate alarms, health checks, KPI collection, and perform RCA on complex RAN incidents in a high-stakes environment.

The role requires Ericsson RAN experience (2G/4G/5G), strong automation capabilities, and on-site availability with shift flexibility in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline.
• Senior-level professional experience in RAN Back Office Operations, Technical Assistance Center (TAC), or Managed Services.
• Mandatory prior professional working experience with Ericsson RAN networks (2G, 4G/LTE, and 5G).
• Strong hands-on practical proficiency in Python scripting, AMOS, and telecom network automation frameworks.
• Demonstrated experience developing reusable automation workflows, API integrations, CLI scripting, and handling JSON/CSV data structures.
• Comprehensive working knowledge of Ericsson hardware and software architectures including BSC, APG, RBS, eNB, and gNB.
• Exceptional analytical, troubleshooting, debugging, and problem-solving capabilities under high-pressure telecommunications conditions.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills with strong cross-functional coordination abilities.
• Mandatory legal work eligibility and physical availability for full-time on-site operations in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, with shift flexibility.

Responsabilidades

• Provide advanced L2 technical support and fault resolution for 2G, 4G/LTE, and 5G RAN networks.
• Design, develop, and implement custom automation solutions, operational workflows, and scripts using Python and AMOS.
• Automate routine alarm handling, health checks, key performance indicator (KPI) collection, and operational reporting.
• Troubleshoot complex RAN incidents, execute root cause analysis (RCA), and drive swift service restoration.
• Perform advanced eNB/gNB protocol tracing, VoLTE call flow analysis, and live network performance monitoring.
• Support end-to-end site integration, acceptance testing, parameter configuration changes, and network optimization activities.
• Coordinate seamlessly with cross-functional engineering teams, managed services squads, and client stakeholders.
• Participate actively in shift rosters and provide scheduled weekend on-call support for mission-critical network operations.
