We are seeking a highly experienced Senior BMS Engineer to lead the technical design, implementation, and commissioning of BMS solutions. This role demands deep technical expertise in building automation and a passion for engineering excellence. You will play a pivotal role in developing and delivering smart, energy-optimized systems across high-impact projects, particularly in data center environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Design robust and scalable BMS architectures tailored to client requirements, including detailed I/O point lists, network schematics, and controller selection.
- Develop advanced control strategies for HVAC, energy management, and integration with third-party systems.
- Configure, program, and commission Delta Controls BMS hardware and software, ensuring optimal performance and compliance with design specifications.
- Conduct site inspections, supervise installations, and perform system testing and validation.
- Integrate BMS with other systems using BACnet, Modbus, and other relevant protocols.
- Diagnose and resolve complex system issues during installation and post-deployment phases.
- Prepare technical documentation including control narratives, wiring diagrams, and commissioning reports.
- Maintain accurate records of system configurations and changes.
- Collaborate with clients and project stakeholders to ensure alignment on technical requirements.
- Provide training and support to facility operators and maintenance teams.
- Support junior engineers and technicians through guidance, code review, and technical training.
- Work closely with project managers and other departments to ensure successful project execution.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience with building automation and control systems
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, energy management, and building automation protocols.
- Proven experience in commissioning, troubleshooting, and optimizing BMS in mission-critical facilities
- Familiarity with AutoCAD, Visio, and BMS documentation standards.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication abilities and a proactive, team-oriented mindset.
- Fluency in English is required.
- Additional certifications in BMS, HVAC, or energy systems are a plus.
