The Job Description
System Programming: Develop and configure control logic for HVAC equipment including AHUs, FCUs, VAVs, Chillers, and Chiller Plant Managers (CPM).
Testing & Commissioning (T&C): Lead T&C activities for BMS and ELV systems, ensuring sequence of operations (SOO) compliance and successful handover.
Graphics & UI: Design and configure user interfaces (UI) and system graphics for BMS workstations using vendor‑specific software (e.g., Trane Tracer, Niagara N4, Metasys).
Integration: Execute third‑party integrations using standard protocols (BACnet IP/MSTP, Modbus, LON, KNX) and wireless interfaces (Zigbee/Air‑Fi).
Review and prepare technical submittals, including network architecture diagrams, control schematics, wiring diagrams, and sequence of operations.
Select and specify field devices, sensors, and controllers based on project specifications.
Conduct site surveys and generate technical reports to support pre‑sales and estimation teams.
Coordinate directly with consultants, main contractors, and MEP teams to resolve site issues and obtain approvals.
Manage project documentation, including Material Inspection Requests (MIR), Method Statements, and Operation & Maintenance (O&M) manuals.
Oversee sub‑contractors and site teams during installation, cabling, and termination phases to ensure quality control.
