Job summary

TASC Outsourcing in Riyadh seeks an experienced BMS Testing & Commissioning Engineer to manage testing, commissioning, troubleshooting, and optimization of Building Management Systems across commercial, industrial, data center, and oil & gas projects.

Ideal candidates have strong HVAC controls, EPMS integration, and electrical commissioning expertise, with hands-on work on Siemens, Honeywell, Schneider, and Distech platforms. A related electrical engineering degree is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related.
• 2–5 years in BMS, electrical commissioning, automation, or industrial projects.
• Experience with HVAC systems, data centers, O&G, or critical facilities.
• Familiar with IEC/ASHRAE/NEC/NFPA standards.

Responsibilities

• Test, commission, and troubleshoot BMS systems across projects.
• Commission HVAC equipment including AHUs, FCUs, chillers, VRF/VRV, pumps, VAVs.
• Verify I/O, loop checks, calibrations, and functional testing.
• Configure DDC controllers, sensors, actuators, and field devices.
• Develop control logic, sequences, and BMS graphics.
• Integrate BMS with EPMS, SCADA, fire alarm, CCTV, and ELV systems.
• Prepare commissioning reports and handover documentation.
• Ensure compliance with relevant standards and QA/QC procedures.

Job description

We are seeking an experienced BMS Testing & Commissioning Engineer to manage the testing, commissioning, troubleshooting, and optimization of Building Management Systems (BMS) across commercial, industrial, data center, and oil & gas projects. The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in HVAC controls, BMS platforms, EPMS integration, automation systems, and electrical commissioning while ensuring compliance with international standards and project specifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting of Building Management Systems (BMS).
• Commission HVAC equipment including AHUs, FCUs, Chillers, VRF/VRV systems, Pumps, VAVs, Cooling Towers, and Ventilation Systems.
• Conduct I/O point verification, loop checks, sensor calibration, actuator testing, and functional performance testing.
• Configure and commission DDC controllers, field devices, sensors, valves, and actuators.
• Develop and validate control logic, sequences of operation, and BMS graphics.
• Integrate BMS with Fire Alarm, Access Control, CCTV, EPMS, SCADA, and other ELV systems.
• Support EPMS integration and real-time monitoring of electrical systems.
• Diagnose communication issues involving BACnet, Modbus, TCP/IP, OPC, RS485, and other industrial protocols.
• Review engineering drawings including control schematics, P&IDs, network architecture, SLDs, and I/O schedules.
• Execute FAT, SAT, Pre-Commissioning, Functional Performance Testing (FPT), and system validation.
• Optimize system performance to improve operational efficiency and reduce energy consumption.
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, MEP teams, vendors, and clients throughout project execution.
• Prepare commissioning reports, testing documentation, inspection records, and project handover packages.
• Ensure compliance with ASHRAE, IEC, NEC, NFPA, API, project QA/QC procedures, and HSE requirements.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical & Electronics Engineering.
• 2 - 5 years of experience in BMS, Electrical Commissioning, Automation, or Industrial Projects.
• Experience in Data Centers, Oil & Gas, Industrial Plants, Commercial Buildings, or Critical Facilities.
• Strong understanding of HVAC systems and control strategies.
• Experience with Siemens, Honeywell, Schneider, or Distech BMS platforms.
• Hands-on experience with EPMS integration and electrical monitoring systems.
• Familiarity with LV/MV electrical systems and switchgear commissioning.
• Knowledge of international standards including IEC, NEC, NFPA, ASHRAE, and API.
