Job summary

Egis Group in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, is seeking an experienced Senior BIM Coordinator to lead development, coordination, and optimization of Building Information Models across multidisciplinary projects.

You will mentor junior staff, enforce BIM standards, manage model federation, and collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure accuracy, compliance with Saudi codes, and timely project delivery.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of BIM coordination experience in AEC industry.
• Advanced proficiency in Revit and Navisworks; BIM coordination workflows.
• BIM standards and ISO 19650 knowledge; model federation and integration.
• Strong understanding of structural, MEP, and architectural coordination.
• Proficiency in 3D visualization, rendering, and model presentation.
• Experience with project management tools and document control systems.
• Analytical, detail-oriented, and well-organized with multi-project exposure.
• Excellent communication and mentoring abilities; leadership of teams.
• Experience with construction sequencing, scheduling, and contracts.
• Familiarity with Saudi building standards; BIM credentials preferred.
• BIM tools such as Solibri/Synchro also advantageous.

Responsibilities

We're looking for an experienced and visionary Senior BIM Coordinator to join our dynamic team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. In this pivotal role, you will lead the development, coordination, and optimization of Building Information Models (BIM) across multidisciplinary projects, ensuring seamless integration and collaboration among all stakeholders. You will be instrumental in establishing BIM excellence, driving innovation in our coordination processes, and mentoring team members to adopt industry best practices. Your analytical mindset, organizational prowess, and collaborative spirit will be essential in delivering high-quality BIM solutions that meet contractual obligations and exceed project expectations.

• Develop, manage, and maintain comprehensive BIM models using industry-standard software and protocols, ensuring accuracy and compliance with project specifications
• Lead clash detection and resolution initiatives between structural, MEP, and architectural systems, documenting findings and coordinating solutions with relevant teams in a timely manner
• Establish, enforce, and continuously improve BIM standards, naming conventions, and modeling guidelines across all projects to ensure consistency and quality
• Coordinate effectively with architects, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure BIM model accuracy, alignment with project requirements, and adherence to Saudi Arabian building codes and regulations
• Generate technical documentation, construction drawings, schedules, and visualizations from BIM models to support construction teams and project delivery
• Perform comprehensive quality assurance reviews on BIM models to verify compliance with project specifications, building codes, and contractual deliverables
• Manage model coordination meetings, track issues, implement corrective actions, and maintain transparent communication with all project teams
• Mentor and support junior BIM coordinators and team members in adopting BIM best practices, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement
• Collaborate with project managers to ensure BIM deliverables meet contractual obligations, timelines, and quality standards
• Stay current with emerging BIM technologies, industry advancements, and evolving standards to drive innovation within the organization
• Manage model federation, integration workflows, and complex coordination scenarios across multiple disciplines
• Contribute to the development and refinement of organizational BIM strategies and processes

• 10+ years of professional experience in BIM coordination, structural engineering, MEP coordination, or related roles within the architecture, engineering, and construction industry
• Advanced proficiency in Autodesk Revit and Navisworks or equivalent BIM software platforms
• Demonstrated expertise in BIM coordination workflows, clash detection, model federation, and multidisciplinary integration
• Strong knowledge of BIM standards and protocols (ISO 19650 or similar frameworks)
• Solid understanding of structural engineering principles, MEP systems, building codes, and construction practices
• Proficiency in 3D visualization, rendering, and model presentation techniques
• Experience with project management tools and document control systems
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail
• Strong organizational abilities and proven capability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to coordinate effectively across multidisciplinary teams
• Leadership and mentoring experience with the ability to guide and develop junior team members
• Experience with construction sequencing, scheduling, and contract management
• Familiarity with Saudi Arabian building standards, regulations, and local construction practices (preferred)
• BIM-related certifications or professional credentials (preferred)
