OKX is seeking an experienced backend engineer to design, build, and scale backend systems powering our DEX trading products. You will own critical parts of the trading lifecycle—from quote discovery to reconciliation—and collaborate with product, frontend, smart contract, and infra teams to deliver secure trading experiences across blockchain ecosystems.

This hands-on role offers architectural ownership and opportunities to grow into technical leadership while working in a fast-paced, globally

Formación

• 5+ years of professional backend engineering experience with production systems.
• Strong proficiency in Java and its backend ecosystem; understanding of concurrency and distributed systems.
• Experience building high-availability services and diagnosing performance issues.
• Understanding of blockchain transactions and DeFi trading mechanisms.
• Ability to own features from design to production deployment.

Responsabilidades

• Design and develop backend services for quote aggregation, order management, and execution tracking.
• Build reliable integrations with DEX protocols and blockchain RPC providers.
• Ensure reliability under high concurrency and handle partial failures and retries.
• Establish monitoring, alerting, and incident-response practices for critical trading flows.
• Translate product requirements into production-ready services and own features end-to-end.
