Job summary

Panasonic Avionics Corporation seeks an experienced Field Engineer to support airline customers on-site, delivering advanced guidance and troubleshooting for avionics systems. You will coordinate with engineering teams, conduct trainings, and assist during aircraft delivery and flight testing.

The role requires strong problem-solving across hardware and software, plus excellent communication to manage customer relations and ensure performance objectives are met.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in engineering, IT or electronics; 10+ years may substitute for degree.
• Extensive experience with avionics systems and airline/OEM customer support.
• Strong troubleshooting across hardware, software, and networking.
• Ability to mentor others and lead small teams on projects.
• Familiar with FAA/CAA/ATA requirements and security access protocols.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced technical guidance to airline customers and Panasonic personnel.
• Lead troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network issues and coordinate action.
• Deliver training and support during aircraft delivery, flight tests and acceptance.
• Maintain in-depth product knowledge and report on field activities.
