Job summary

KAUST in Thuwal, Saudi Arabia seeks a Technology Support Lead to oversee classroom AV, collaboration platforms, and end-user computing. You will guide a team of AV engineers and EUC specialists, coordinate daily operations, and ensure reliable services aligned with institutional priorities.

You will engage with faculty and staff to improve user experience, implement ITIL-based processes, and drive continuous improvement across AV and EUC environments while managing budgets and vendor

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, computer science, electronics, or related field.
• Minimum 10 years designing and maintaining enterprise AV and video conferencing systems.
• 4–6 years with networking systems, AV over IP, and conferencing infrastructure.
• Strong knowledge of control systems (Biamp, Crestron, Extron) and room solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a team of AV engineers, EUC specialists, and technicians with mentoring.
• Oversee operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of classroom AV and EUC devices.
• Ensure service continuity by aligning operations with policy and procedures.
• Develop schedules for equipment lifecycle, upgrades, and replacements.
• Manage budgets by forecasting expenses and recommending cost-effective solutions.
