Job summary

Deloitte in Riyadh is seeking an Audit & Assurance Senior Manager to lead complex engagements, set audit strategy, and drive quality delivery across teams. The role requires an MBA or equivalent, 10+ years in public accounting with big firms, and international accounting qualifications (CA, ACCA, or CPA).

Fluent English is essential; Arabic is a plus. You will oversee risk assessment, planning, and reporting, collaborate with clients and teams, and apply Deloitte's methodologies including

Qualifications

• MBA or equivalent, preferably a degree in Accounting, Auditing, or any related field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in public accounting, auditing, audit management, budget, business plan, business strategy, preferably with big Firms.
• Extensive knowledge of best practice reporting and International financial reporting standards.
• Able to ensure that the applicable accounting and auditing standards have been consistently applied and obtains appropriate evidence to support the assessment that the financial statements have been prepared in in accordance with the applicable financial reporting framework
• Ability to develop one's own knowledge and the knowledge of others as it relates to Deloitte's tools and audit methodology and the applicable professional accounting and auditing standards through both formal learning and on-the-job training
• Ability to thoroughly review audit documentation for completeness, accuracy and adequacy while ensuring timely archiving of work papers
• International accounting qualification is required: CA, ACCA, or CPA.
• Fluent in English (reading, speaking, and writing). Preference will be given to Bilingual candidates (Arabic/English)

Responsibilities

• Identify strategic audit priorities and communicate to stakeholders.
• Ensure risk assessment procedures are integrated into planning and execution.
• Contribute to risks, materiality, and scope discussions for audits.
• Involve experts in planning and define expectations for skepticism.
• Lead component auditors and review referrals.
• Drive revenue testing with process flow diagrams and policy understanding.
• Develop comprehensive project plans with timelines and resources.
• Communicate plans and dependencies to management at start of audit.
• Promote professional skepticism, especially with AI outputs.
• Engage with quality control and improve prior year testing.
• Ensure alignment with Deloitte's audit imperatives.
