Job summary

Deloitte Middle East is seeking an experienced auditor to lead engagements, supervise staff, inspect client records, and deliver high‑quality audit reports. You will liaise with onshore and offshore Centers of Excellence, apply professional skepticism, and ensure milestones align with the audit plan while maintaining regulatory awareness.

A degree in accounting and 4+ years' public auditing experience are required, with English fluency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
• 4+ years of public auditing and accounting experience, preferably with Big Audit Firms.
• International accounting qualification such as SOCPA, CA, ACCA or CPA is desirable.
• Fluent in English (Reading, Speaking, and Writing).

Responsibilities

• Supervise staff, inspect client financial records, compile and analyze data, prepare detailed audit reports, and resolve accounting research issues.
• Demonstrate ability to plan and manage engagements and people, ensuring deliverables meet work plan specifications and deadlines.
• Liaise effectively with onshore and offshore Centers of Excellence to deliver tasks accurately and timely.
• Understand the structure of the group audit and the referral instructions for the scope of procedures.
• Articulate audit quality milestones and how they contribute to overall audit quality.
• Develop relationships beyond the finance function to understand the entity's business and apply professional skepticism.
