Job summary

The role requires deep expertise in codes, materials, detailing, BIM coordination, and sustainable design, with 10+ years in architecture and at least 5 years in PMC/consultancy. Excellent communication is essential for stakeholder engagement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture.
• Minimum 10 years in architectural design and supervision, with 5+ years in PMC/consultancy.
• Strong knowledge of codes, materials, detailing, finishes.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Adobe Suite.
• Familiarity with BIM processes and cross-discipline coordination.
• Sustainable design principles and compliance standards.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities

• Review and approve architectural design submissions from consultants and contractors to ensure compliance with project requirements codes and regulations
• Ensure the architectural design is aesthetically consistent functionally practical and technically feasible
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams structural MEP civil landscape to ensure integrated design and construction solutions
• Provide technical input during all project stages concept schematic detailed design and construction supervision
• Participate in design workshops value engineering exercises and design reviews with stakeholders
• Monitor and ensure compliance with local building codes international standards and sustainability requirements LEED Estidama etc
• Review and comment on shop drawings material submittmits mock-ups and contractor queries RFIs
• Conduct site visits and inspections to verify the execution of architectural works aligns with approved designs
• Mentor junior architects and review their work for quality and consistency
• Prepare architectural reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders

Requirements

• Bachelor s Degree in Architecture from an accredited university (Master s preferred).
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in architectural design and supervision, with at least 5 years in a PMC or consultancy role.
• Strong knowledge of architectural codes, materials, detailing, and finishes.
• Proficiency in architectural software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Adobe Suite, and visualization tools.
• Familiarity with BIM processes and coordination with other disciplines.
• Strong understanding of sustainable design principles and compliance standards.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure in fast-paced environments.
