Job summary

Dar Al Riyadh Group is seeking a highly skilled Senior Architect with 10+ years of experience to oversee architectural design review, coordination, and compliance on a major PMC project.

You will collaborate with clients, consultants, and contractors to ensure architectural design aligns with intent, codes, and specifications, while mentoring junior staff and delivering quality presentations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Architecture from an accredited university (Master’s preferred).
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in architectural design and supervision, with at least 5 years in a PMC or consultancy role.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Adobe Suite, and visualization tools.

Job description

We are seeking a highly skilled and creative Senior Architect with a minimum of 10 years of experience to oversee architectural design review, coordination, and compliance on a major PMC project. The role involves working closely with clients, consultants, and contractors to ensure that architectural aspects of the project align with the design intent, statutory requirements, and project specifications.

Responsibilities:

• Review and approve architectural design submissions from consultants and contractors to ensure compliance with project requirements, codes, and regulations.
• Ensure the architectural design is aesthetically consistent, functionally practical, and technically feasible.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams (structural, MEP, civil, landscape) to ensure integrated design and construction solutions.
• Provide technical input during all project stages – concept, schematic, detailed design, and construction supervision.
• Participate in design workshops, value engineering exercises, and design reviews with stakeholders.
• Monitor and ensure compliance with local building codes, international standards, and sustainability requirements (LEED, Estidama, etc.).
• Review and comment on shop drawings, material submittals, mock‑ups, and contractor queries (RFIs).
• Conduct site visits and inspections to verify the execution of architectural works aligns with approved designs.
• Mentor junior architects and review their work for quality and consistency.
• Prepare architectural reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture from an accredited university (Master’s preferred).
