Job summary

Aramco Overseas Company is seeking an Architect to join the Engineering & Design Division of the Community Services Technical Support Department in Saudi Arabia. The role involves senior-level architectural expertise for assessment, design, renovation and enhancement of community facilities, with emphasis on sustainability, accessibility and lifecycle performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or Architectural Engineering from an approved program.
• Fifteen years of architectural design experience with senior technical exposure.
• Strong knowledge of building codes, accessibility, sustainability and life safety.
• Experience reviewing architectural designs and coordinating with other disciplines.
• Proven ability to provide technical consultation and prepare clear reports.

Responsibilities

• Provide senior architectural engineering expertise for new construction and renovations.
• Assess existing facilities for condition, code compliance and accessibility.
• Develop architectural concepts, space programs and design requirements.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary design solutions across disciplines.
• Lead value engineering, constructability reviews and lifecycle improvements.
• Mentor junior staff and contribute to architectural guidelines.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or Architectural Engineering

Advanced degree preferred

Professional registration or architectural licensure preferred

Building codes and accessibility knowledge

Sustainability and lifecycle design understanding

Human-centered design and placemaking

Coordination across multidisciplinary teams

Experience with BIM/CAD
